| This is a full-time permanent position under the supervision of the assigned Custodial Supervisor. The Ground Worker 2 is responsible for maintaining grounds, streets and walks at assigned campus, and related work as required.
Incumbent is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community campus/center as assigned. May be required to provide services outside of normal work hours and week. This position may be contacted during non-duty hours. |

| The Chief of Staff (CoS) serves as a senior executive advisor and strategic partner to the President of Volunteer State Community College. Operating at the highest levels of institutional leadership, the CoS collaborates closely with the President, Vice Presidents, and senior leaders to ensure execution of the College’s strategic priorities and manages short and long-term critical projects, initiatives, and activities.
The CoS oversees Marketing, Communications, and Media Services including all public relations and branding for the College and is responsible for budgetary oversight of this department. This role also provides oversight to the regional locations regarding all marketing, branding, and public relations. The role functions as a strategic integrator streamlining operations, aligning cross-divisional efforts, and driving key initiatives across the institution.
The CoS plays a pivotal role in Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM), the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) funding formula, and the development and execution of 1-, 3-, and 5-year strategic plans. The CoS leads change by innovating institutional approaches, methods, and processes through data-informed decision-making to enhance operational effectiveness.
This position also serves as the primary liaison with external organizations such as the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR), THEC, SCORE, and other state agencies to ensure Vol State is meeting or exceeding system and state expectations and advancing its mission through aligned advocacy and policy strategy. |

Strips, waxes, buffs, and cleans floors as needed to maintain a neat appearance.
Performs security functions such as unlocking, locking, and checking doors and windows.
Assists the Coordinator of Physical Facilities in developing preventative maintenance measures and following published schedule related to same and other tasks as needed.
Managing the physical setup of the large auditorium room for scheduled events.

| The Director of Workforce Data will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of data related to noncredit workforce training offered at TBR colleges. This includes the development of near-real time dashboards that provide insight into training opportunities, enrollment patterns, contact hour accrual, and other metrics related to noncredit training. Additionally, in collaboration with TBR’s Center for Workforce Development, the Director will create routine and ad hoc resources to support TBR and Tennessee initiatives related to workforce training, such as the state’s TNWORKS initiative. This includes merging multiple disparate data sources to create an all-encompassing view of different workforce training opportunities and student outcomes.
As a part of TBR’s team working to scale noncredit data solutions, the Director of Workforce Data will help identify noncredit data priorities and subsequent data standards requirements. Working with the Senior Director of Data Strategy, the Director will also have responsibility for ensuring data collected from colleges is of high quality and meets established requirements. Finally, the Director of Workforce Data will routinely liaise with members of the Center for Workforce Development to support oversight of a common community college LMS and ensure that the Center’s data needs are met.
This position may have the opportunity to work hybrid within the state of Tennessee but with periodic (weekly) visits to the TBR System Office (Nashville, TN) at the employee’s expense, and potential travel to Tennessee TBR colleges may be necessary. |
