Title: Workforce Development Trainer

Job Summary:
This position represents the College for the purposes of critical, high-end workforce instruction, outreach, promoting student enrollment, student retention and management of workforce programs. This position will be primarily responsible for industry-based training programs and the management of the students and prospective students within those respective areas.
This position will be responsible for identifying potential clients, establishing partnerships, and promoting all our Workforce courses (OSHA, Center of Emphasis, Health Sciences Continuing Education, Workforce).
Job Duties:
Provide instruction in the areas of Advanced Manufacturing. Teach OSHA courses and related manufacturing programs, ensuring participants meet learning objectives and safety standards. Ensure all training materials and programs meet OSHA and other workforce standards and regulations; maintain personal certifications and seek additional relevant certifications as needed. Work directly with Industry partners to create training programs based on their specific needs (to include OSHA safety programs, basic manufacturing courses, and customizable training programs. Work directly with Industry partners on special projects and implementation processes. Maintain records, student data, and other documents related to advising, outreach, retention, and appropriate reports. Provide basic information to the public regarding College Workforce Training and Education Programs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of college policies, procedures, programs and articulation with other colleges and surrounding state/private colleges and universities. Identify and engage training providers and contractors to deliver leadership, management, and soft skills training programs. Evaluate training providers’ curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry standards and workforce development goals. Work with purchasing and contracts to oversee contract negotiations, compliance, and performance of training providers. Recommend and monitor budgetary expenditures and income to assess progress toward annual enrollment and financial goals. Serve as a liaison between businesses, educational institutions, and workforce development programs to align training with labor market demands. Track and report program outcomes, including participant success rates, certifications earned, and employer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all training programs. Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training effectiveness and relevance. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and three years of related experience OR Associate degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field and one year of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous community college experience and knowledge of Career and Technical programs in higher education.
Certification or willing/able to get certified in OSHA 10 and 30, as well as National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Certifications.

Experience in budget management and strategic planning.
Proven ability to strengthen partnerships with K-12 institutions and adult education programs.
Experience in developing continuing education programs and managing trainers.
Proven ability to develop and implement successful training programs in collaboration with business and industry partners.
Ability to determine training or education needs of employers and provide courses based on those needs.
Demonstrated understanding of and experience with local workforce development boards and local economic development agencies
Knowledge of industry certification programs and standards.
Pay Rate: $47,276 - $59,095 annual salary depending on experience
