Job Summary

• Deliver customized training programs to prepare trainees/students for working in an advanced manufacturing environment, including LEAN manufacturing, manufacturing processes, robotics industrial safety, blueprint reading, process automation, quality inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor and evaluate trainees/students’ progress, maintain records in the college’s student records management system, maintain appropriate documentation and submit timely reports.
• Provide hands-on instruction using lab equipment, simulators, and real-world scenarios.
• Track trainee progress and provide feedback to both participants and management.
• Maintain training facilities, tools, and equipment in optimal condition.
• Support continuous improvement of training programs through feedback and performance data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align training content with operational needs and evolving technologies.
• Provide instruction in both specialized industrial training and classroom technical training when needed.
• Perform related tasks and other duties as assigned.

Job Duties

 

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED/HiSET. Technical diploma or post-secondary credential in a related field. Associate Degree preferred.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in industry.
• In-depth knowledge of LEAN manufacturing, manufacturing processes, robotics industrial safety, blueprint reading, process automation, quality inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Must possess computer skills and knowledge of emerging technologies in manufacturing.
• Skilled in managing deadlines and working in a team-oriented environment.
• Committed to utilizing technology in teaching/learning experience and willingness to stay up to date in developing instructional technologies. Prior teaching or evidence of ability to teach students is a plus.
