Campus Location: Walters State Community College - Morristown Campus (Employees are assigned to a “home” location but may occasionally or regularly be required to work at other WSCC locations.)
Job Purpose: This position plays a key role in implementing dual enrollment and other high school programs for the college. Responsibilities include developing marketing materials, facilitating recruitment opportunities, and assisting students through the application, course selection, and registration processes. The position provides guidance to support student success, manages documentation required by both the college and high schools, assists with the Local Dual Credit program, and coordinates daily with high schools across the college’s ten-county service area.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist with scheduling dual enrollment classes, including planning, marketing, registration, fee collection, and evaluation visits with participating high schools. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as principals, counselors, parents, and WSCC deans and department heads.
- Assist with the procurement of required student documents for the application process; oversee and execute recruiting strategies; incorporate student success/mentoring activities/practices.
- Prepare and analyze various complex reports within the division for use with strategies to move the college's dual enrollment program forward; prepare and build courses in the college data system; communicate top-level information to area stakeholders in the ten-county service area.
- Monitor SACSCOC Substantive Change regulations pertaining to dual enrollment and other high school programs areas.
- Coordinate the Dual Enrollment Program with area high schools and help develop and process dual enrollment applications for high school students; advise students, parents, and high school counselors and principals of all Faculty Feedback alerts (early alert system) to increase student success and retention.
- Provide oversight and management for other high school programs available through the college, such as the college's local dual credit and/or other early post-secondary opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department by providing program-specific content and information for the creation of recruitment materials. Coordinate the distribution and promotion of these materials to high schools, students, and parents through targeted outreach and engagement efforts to support student recruitment and enrollment initiatives.
- Complete registration of dual enrollment students, to include registering students in Slate and Banner, utilizing mass registration, and providing business office services by creating and disseminating individualized fee documents and ensuring receipt of payment of tuition for dual enrollment students.
- Process and oversee all verification processes for all high school students in the ten-county service area with THEC/TSAC through the FAST system to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Education, Business, or other related fields.
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Working knowledge of standard office equipment (PC, phone, fax, email, copier, etc.), Banner software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient communication skills for developing relationships and resolving conflicts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in related field such as Education, Business, or other related fields.
- 3-4 years of related experience
- Previous work experience with K12 school system

Environment & Working Conditions: The office environment is primarily temperature-controlled, with occasional fluctuations. Travel to various work locations may involve exposure to varying environmental conditions. Offsite meetings may also occur in settings with higher noise levels.

- Extensive travel by motor vehicle.
- Possible evening and weekend work related to the dual enrollment program and division.
