Job Summary
The Dual Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting all operational aspects of the Dual Enrollment program. The Coordinator supports admissions, registration, enrollment changes, student advising, outreach activities, and compliance-related processes while supporting institutional goals for enrollment growth, student success, and community partnerships.
Job Duties
- Student Admissions and Enrollment
- Process dual enrollment applications and admissions.
- Verify student eligibility requirements in accordance with institutional and state guidelines.
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
- Communicate admission status and enrollment requirements to students and school partners.
- Registration and Enrollment Management
- Coordinate registration for dual enrollment students.
- Process course adds, drops, withdrawals, and schedule changes within established deadlines.
- Monitor enrollment activity and resolve registration issues.
- Ensure enrollment records are accurate and compliant with institutional policies.
- Student Advising and Academic Pathways
- Advise students regarding course selection, academic pathways, and degree programs.
- Assist students in understanding transfer opportunities and career pathways.
- Collaborate with academic departments to ensure appropriate course placement and progression.
- Communication and Customer Service
- Monitor and respond to inquiries received through the Dual Enrollment inbox.
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, counselors, faculty, and administrators.
- Develop and maintain communication materials related to program requirements, deadlines, and opportunities.
- Recruitment, Outreach, and Partnership Support
- Facilitate dual enrollment registration days at partner high schools and college campuses.
- Conduct dual enrollment presentations for students, parents, counselors, and school administrators.
- Attend EPSO (Early Postsecondary Opportunities) events, college fairs, recruitment events, and partner meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school district and high school partners.
- Verification, Certification, and Billing Support
- Assist with verification and certification processes necessary for tuition billing, state reporting, and funding requirements.
- Support enrollment audits and compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with finance, records, and academic departments to ensure data accuracy.
- Compliance and Records Management
- Maintain confidential student records in accordance with FERPA regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR), Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation (TSAC), and institutional policies.
- Assist with reporting requirements and data collection efforts.
- Program Assessment and Continuous Improvement
- Assist with data collection, program evaluation, and reporting activities.
- Support initiatives designed to improve enrollment, retention, persistence, and student success.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Two (2) years of experience in higher education, K-12 education, enrollment management, student services, advising, admissions, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience using student information systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- Experience working with dual enrollment, early college, or secondary-postsecondary partnerships.
- Knowledge of Tennessee dual enrollment policies, TSAC grant programs, and TBR regulations.
- Experience delivering presentations and facilitating group events.

Physical Demands / Working Conditions
- This position requires travel to partner high schools and community events throughout the College service area. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support recruitment, registration, and outreach activities.
