Job Summary
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crump is accepting applications for full-time faculty positions in various Correctional Education Programs in Clifton, Tennessee.
Faculty are sought in the following programs: Administrative Office Technology, Building Construction Technology, Computer Aided Design Technology, Barbering, Digital Graphic Design Technology, Earthmoving Equipment Operator, Electrical & Plumbing Construction Technology, Farming Operations Technology, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Industrial Electricity, Industrial Maintenance, Truck Driving, Welding Technology.
Job Duties
- Develop, plan and prepare a complete progressive course of study, syllabi, lesson plans, assignment and instructional aids, and keep these revised and up to date to meet the requirements of industry.
- Administer assessments to evaluate student progress. Maintain student academic records and submit reports related to the program (i.e., grades, attendance, discipline, etc.).
- Conduct and/or attend meetings, day and/or evening with educational institutions, business and industry to develop working relationships with employers and program advisory committees.
- Attend workshops and/or other training programs to remain current.
- Motivation, conduct, safety, discipline, and appearance of student during the time he/she is in the classroom are also duties of the instructor.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
• Three years recent employment experience in instructional area.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Evidence of good character, mature attitude, and stable personality.
• Prior teaching or evidence of ability to teach students a plus.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle to travel within the college service area and in other areas as needed.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Demands / Working Conditions
- Normal standing, sitting, and walking
- Lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs
- Operate standard electrical equipment and tools, stand and climb ladders
- Operate a motor vehicle to travel within the college service area and in other areas as needed.
- Must have the physical capability of meeting the demands of campus maintenance / grounds and electrical work as well as managing students.
SALARY:
Ranges: $ 51,149-$67,517
Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines
