| This is a full time, fiscal year permanent position reporting to the Manager of Client Services. The Computer Lab Technician is under general supervision. He/she is primarily responsible for the deployment (repairs, maintenance, installation) and support of all microcomputer and related equipment at the college.
The operating environment includes PC microcomputers with Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 2007 operating systems. PC servers with microcomputers, a 10/100 megabit Ethernet local area network (LAN), and wide area networks using frame relay, TCP/IP, and T1. The environment also includes Compaq Alpha Servers running Open VMS. |

The primary purpose is to teach the Upward Bound students during the summer program in the approved subject area. The Upward Bound summer program provides summer instruction to the Upward Bound students to prepare them for the upcoming academic year. |
