Director - Engaged Learning Memphis
The Director of Engaged Learning is a full-time appointment reporting directly to the Associate Dean of Academic Innovation and Faculty Support within the division of Academic Affairs and Workforce Development at Southwest Tennessee Community College. This role provides strategic leadership for college-wide initiatives that enhance instructional excellence and student success. The Director designs, implements, and assesses faculty development programming focused on evidence-based pedagogy, high-impact practices (HIPs), and instructional technology integration. The role supports all faculty, with targeted outreach to adjunct and dual enrollment instructors, and collaborates across academic and student affairs divisions to embed innovative teaching practices. The Director also manages the college’s honors and international education programs and represents the institution in external networks focused on teaching and learning.

The Campus Police Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe learning environment, protecting the assets and interest of the institution, and enforcing laws, policy and regulations. The officer performs a variety of police duties in patrolling assigned areas on foot and by motor vehicle to detect crime and to arrest violators; patrolling parking lots and college buildings to ensure security and safety.
Director - Upward Bound Grant Memphis
This is a full-time grant funded position reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Enrollment Management. The Upward Bound Program Director is responsible for the development and administration of the Upward Bound Program, including hiring, training, supervising and evaluating project staff, fiscal management, project development and management, and liaison to the target area communities. The Upward Bound Director will also provide direct services to Upward Bound participants.
