Faculty – Technologies (Cisco Academy)

This is a full-time academic-year (9-month) term appointment reporting to the department chair of Technologies. The Cisco Networking Academy faculty member is responsible for delivering high-quality, hands-on instruction in networking and information technology courses as part of the Cisco Networking Academy program.
The faculty member will prepare students for Cisco certifications and provide them with essential knowledge and skills in networking, cybersecurity, and related technologies. The faculty member is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus as assigned.
At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, serving on various committees, participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities, and organizations. |

Avionics Instructor

The Instructor will be responsible for teaching the AVIONICS course including: Aviation Math, Basic Electricity to include complex DC and AC circuits, Analog circuits, Digital Fundamentals, Aircraft Electrical Troubleshooting skills, Wire and Cable bundle build up and installation practices, Aircraft Communication and Navigations Systems, Installation and Removal of Aircraft Avionics LRU’s, Aircraft Schematic Diagram interpretation and utilization, and Soldering Through Hole and Surface Mount Components to Printed Circuit Boards. |
