Computer Information Technology Instructor- Northwest Correctional Complex TCAT Northwest
The Computer Information Technology Associate Instructor at the Northwest Correctional Complex is responsible for instructing rehabilitation and correctional students in vocational training to prepare them to re- enter the job market in the Computer Information Technology industry. This position provides theory and hands-on skills instruction to students in areas including, but not limited to troubleshooting, system architecture and protocols, software applications, programming, hardware assembly and repair, backup strategies, networking and configuring computers and related peripheral devices. The instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual students’ progress; maintain appropriate documentation of student progress; submit timely reports; and maintain close communication with correctional personnel and TCAT Northwest administration. Applicants selected for an interview will be required to tour the Northwest Correctional Complex.

The purpose of this position is to monitor all requests for external funding of programs or research by faculty or staff, to evaluate grant opportunities from public or private funding agencies for appropriateness for WSCC (institutional readiness, ROI, and internal resources), ensure accuracy and quality of proposal submissions, and monitor funded projects for compliance with the requirements of the funding entity and integrity in accounting and auditing.

The Director of Internal Audit supports Walters State Community College in achieving its mission by providing independent, objective, and relevant assurance and advisory services related to risk management, internal controls, and governance processes. The position reports administratively to the College President and functionally to the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) Audit Committee through the TBR Chief Audit Executive (CAE). The Director is responsible for developing and executing the College’s annual audit plan and for conducting financial, operational, and compliance audits as outlined in the plan or as directed by the President or the TBR Audit Committee. These audits evaluate the effectiveness of the institution’s internal controls, promote continuous improvement, strengthen risk management practices, enhance fraud awareness, and assess the efficiency and effectiveness of financial, administrative, and academic operations. In addition, the work ensures compliance with College policies, Tennessee Board of Regents and State of Tennessee requirements, federal regulations, and applicable accreditation standards.
Executive Director - Physical Plant Memphis
This is a full-time, fiscal year position reporting to the Chief of Administrative Services. The Executive Director of Physical Plant provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of the College’s facilities, including maintenance, custodial services, grounds, utilities, and construction projects across multiple campus sites. This role ensures that campus facilities and infrastructure are maintained in a safe, efficient, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing manner that supports the College’s mission and enhances the student, faculty, staff, and community experience.
