Part-Time Faculty - Emergency Medical Services Columbia
Part time faculty are hired as needed on a semester-to-semester basis and typically teach up to nine credit hours during the semester. Columbia State offers classes at five campuses: Columbia Campus, Williamson Campus, Lawrenceburg Campus, Lewisburg Campus, and Clifton Campus. Columbia State also offers classes at several off-campus locations and clinical sites.
Administrative Technical Support II Nashville
The Administrative Technical Support II position primarily supports the administrative/technical/logistical functions of the External Affairs Division, including technical support of events (SOAR, Workforce Convenings, Foundation Board Meetings, and TBR Quarterly Board Meetings). Secondary support responsibilities include the Regional Workforce Coordinators and TCAT Web Services. This position may have the opportunity to work remote within the state of Tennessee but with periodic visits to the TBR System Office (Nashville, TN) at the employee’s expense, and potential travel to Tennessee TBR colleges may be necessary.

Director of State Government Relations Nashville
The Director of State Government Relations will serve as a key liaison between the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR), the Tennessee General Assembly, and other government agencies. Working in collaboration with the AVC, the Coordinator for Government Relations, and the Executive Vice Chancellor for External Affairs, the Director is responsible for monitoring, tracking, and analyzing all proposed state legislation and assessing its potential effects on the TBR System. The Director will provide strategic advice and direction on how legislative activity may impact the System’s budget and policy priorities—particularly those related to student recruitment, support, progression, and completion. The Director cultivates strong relationships with legislators, state officials, and policy stakeholders to advocate for the TBR System and align public policy with institutional, workforce development, and student success goals. This position will serve in a cross functional role with the other Directors in the Department of Government and Public Relations. This position supervises the Coordinator of Government Relations. This position is responsible for tracking and assisting students by providing holistic services from pre-enrollment to completion for a defined set of students with a primary goal of assisting them with overcoming barriers to their success in college.
Curriculum and Compliance Coordinator Jackson
• Work closely with faculty, staff, industry partners, and accrediting bodies to coordinate the design, review, and revision of academic programs and courses to ensure they meet educational standards and industry needs. • Monitor and ensure compliance with accreditation standards, state and federal regulations, and institutional policies. • Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of academic programs and student learning outcomes. • Provide guidance and support to faculty in curriculum development, instructional strategies, and compliance matters. • Maintain accurate records of curriculum changes, accreditation reports, and compliance documentation. • Organize and facilitate professional development opportunities for faculty and staff related to curriculum and compliance. • Implement ongoing professional development and training for adjunct, substitute, and full-time faculty • Assist with the evaluation of faculty performance, identify areas for improvement in academic programs and implement strategies to enhance curriculum quality and compliance. • Performs all other duties assigned by the Vice President and President.
Faculty - Technologies (Artificial Intelligence) Memphis
This is a full-time academic-year (9-month) term appointment faculty position reporting to the Department Chair of Technologies. Teaching responsibilities will include foundational and advanced AI topics such as Python programming, data analysis, machine learning, artificial intelligence tools and frameworks, neural networks, and ethical considerations in AI. The faculty member will also play a key role in shaping the AI curriculum and integrating hands-on learning experiences into the program. The faculty member is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus as assigned. At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, serving on various committees, and participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities and organizations.
