The purpose of this position is to perform custodial functions on the Walters State Claiborne County Campus. Key duties include emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, classrooms and common areas. Sweeping and mopping floors and dusting surfaces. Custodians also report maintenance issues, use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, and may set up rooms for events.

This is a full-time faculty position responsible for preparing and delivering quality instruction on topics in Industrial Process Control Technology.

This is a full-time permanent position under the supervision of the assigned Custodial Supervisor. The custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas and related work as required. He/she is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend at any Southwest Tennessee Community College location as assigned. The standard shift time for this position is 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work is reviewed and evaluated through inspection of work performed. Specific duties may vary depending on the type of facility to be cleaned. This position primarily reports to the Macon Cove campus. This position may be contacted during non-duty hours.

The Adult Education Adjunct Instructor for Corrections is responsible for guiding and instructing individuals seeking to advance employability and basic education skills. This role provides academic instruction, career coaching, and workforce development support for adult learners with varying educational functioning levels. The successful candidate will regularly interact with students, provide instruction, and perform registration and intake-related services at Adult Education instructional sites, which include the American Job Centers, local businesses, housing authorities, rehabilitation facilities, and county jails.
