| This is a full-time, fiscal year tenure track faculty appointment with management and supervisory responsibilities as the Department Head of Nursing. The Department Head provides leadership, management, planning, and advocacy for faculty and programs within the unit. He/she is responsible for formulating and communicating recommendations for hiring, tenure, promotion, retention and evaluation of faculty and departmental support staff. |

| Part time faculty are hired as needed on a semester-to-semester basis and typically teach up to nine credit hours during the semester. Columbia State offers classes at five campuses: Columbia Campus, Williamson Campus, Lawrenceburg Campus, Lewisburg Campus, and Clifton Campus. Columbia State also offers classes at several off-campus locations and clinical sites. |
