Brief Job Overview/Summary

The School of Natural Science & Mathematics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong collaborative, interpersonal and communication skills to support grant-related financial activities and general administrative functions. The position will work closely with the NAMS budget personnel staff and will support the financial and administrative operations of the school by processing financial transactions, tracking expenditures, invoicing, maintaining accurate documentation and performing other related duties as assigned.

Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process requisitions, direct pays, and expense reports in coordination with the budget staff. Track expenditures and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with funding and guidelines. Process invoices, reimbursements, and related financial documentation for grant accounts.
• Provide administrative support to NAMS budget personnel, including scheduling meetings, maintaining sharepoint and excel spreadsheets, corresponding with faculty, staff and students and meeting deadlines efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding budget matters and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or minimum of 4 years work experience in finance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Sharepoint.
