About the Department:
The Mathematical Sciences Department offers undergraduate, Master’s, and Ph.D. programs in pure, applied, and computational mathematics. High-level research across a variety of disciplines is strengthened through collaborations with local government/industry partners and nearby universities. High-quality teaching and community engagement is achieved through innovative strategies including extensive outreach work, active learning, hands-on undergraduate research, and internship programs with high success rates among both undergraduate and graduate students.
