| The primary role of the Men's Soccer Assistant Coach is to recruit and coach top student-athletes. The Assistant Coach provides teaching, coaching, and technical expertise needed to allow the student-athlete to compete at their highest competitive potential. Additionally, it is a primary responsibility to be cognitive to all coaching and/or teaching duties associated with the program. This is to include, but not be limited to, oversight and management of the safety and well-being of those student athletes assigned to their coaching care, and usage of applied data analytic concepts for modeling and statistical evaluation of player and team performance. In the absence of the Head Coach, this position is expected to act on behalf of the Head Coach on any and all related program issues. The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of a highly competitive Division I program. |

The position also partners with central Advancement, advancement colleagues, and school colleagues to advance philanthropic giving to key priorities through ongoing annual fundraising, alumni engagement, corporate and foundation relations, and major, principle, and planned giving.
Under a dual reporting relationship to the Dean and the Associate Vice President of Development, the Senior Director of Development manages development activity for the school by undertaking the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of prospects with metrics established by Central Advancement.
The Senior Director oversees the school’s capital campaign activities and ensures alignment of the school’s capital campaign with any future comprehensive campaign on the part of the university. This is a position that is heavily focused on networking and building relationships and committed to the tracking of measures and metrics to build a pipeline of donors to support the aspirations of the dean, faculty, and students of the school and the university as a whole.
This position is expected to travel independently and to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends. |
