Position Summary

The School of Business & Law at AACC is looking for a part-time faculty member to teach a face-to-face afternoon class this fall at South River High School in Edgewater or online synchronous course for Southern High School students in the morning. These are introductory business courses and will run for 15 weeks starting September 1st.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include: teaching, assessing student progress in meeting the learning objectives through formal and informal assessment, holding office hours, meeting required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information, as requested, and adhering to safety procedures and departmental standards.

Required Qualifications:

-Master's degree in Business related field
-Minimum of three (3) years of full-time professional experience in a Business or Accounting Field

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience with the Canvas learning management system is a plus
-Experience working with dual-enrollment (high school) students
