Custodian I/II-various shifts available Arnold/Main Campus
The Custodian I/II position is responsible for providing custodial services for all College buildings. Dedicated to assuring proper hygiene compliance and the cleanliness of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, administrative offices, auditoriums, etc. There will be (4) overnight, 11pm – 7am shifts and (1) shift that will work 7am – 3pm (3) weekdays and Saturday and Sunday.
Admissions Assistant I/II PT Arnold/Main Campus
The Admissions Assistant provides comprehensive customer service via telephone, email, online and in-person. The Admissions Assistant regularly communicates with prospective students to provide information on the next steps in the enrollment process and answer questions the student may have about the community college or enrollment process. The Admissions Assistant will call prospective students to provide their next step in the enrollment process and answer questions asked by the students. This position requires initial contact and follow-up through enrollment. The goal is to convert applicants to enrollments.
Director, TEACH Institute Arnold/Main Campus
The Director reports to the Dean of Science, Technology, and Education (STE). The Director provides leadership that aligns with the strategic plans of the College and the School. The Director is responsible for administrative, programming, and curricular matters within the credit Education Department and the multiple noncredit Childcare and Parenting/Family Life programs within the TEACH Institute and Parenting Center. Start date for this position is July 1, 2024.
Basic Needs Coordinator Arnold/Main Campus
The Basic Needs Coordinator is responsible for oversight of administration, tracking, and assessment of emergency support through the food pantry and the Helplink Grant. Responsibilities include economic crisis intervention, student advocacy, reporting, and referral to on and off-campus wellness resources. Additionally, the Basic Needs Coordinator plans, implements, and assesses campus-wide programming that meets the needs of under-resourced and high-need students. The coordinator develops and maintains relationships with campus and community partners, including but not limited to The AACC Foundation and the Maryland Food Bank. The Basic Needs Coordinator has oversight of one Part-Time Assistant. This position requires strong knowledge and experience in student advocacy, food and housing insecurity, community support resources and economic emergency management.
Customer Support Technician Arnold/Main Campus
A customer support technician is responsible for providing first level customer and technical support at our Technical Service Desk via walk-ins and phone calls. The technician will troubleshoot and resolve various issues related to hardware, software, network, and account access. The technician will also rotate to other areas of the Technology Support Services department and work under the direction of senior staff members to provide support to both desktop and asset management teams.
Instructor/Diesel Mechanic Arnold/Main Campus
The Diesel Mechanic/Instructor will provide instruction on the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of diesel trucks and critical subsystems including shop safety and operations, maintenance programs, diesel engines, electrical and electronic systems, steering and suspension, brakes and HVAC systems.

Instructor/Assistant Professor, Kinesiology Arnold/Main Campus
A strong kinesiology candidate should demonstrate a proven ability to teach introductory and upper college-level, kinesiology, exercise prescription, sports injuries, advanced first aid CPR/AED, wellness general education, as well as other courses that fit within the needs of the kinesiology degree program and Health Fitness and Exercise Studies department. Experience in higher education, corporate or commercial fitness, personal training, sports performance or athletic training is required. This position will require some travel to local high schools to teach kinesiology-related courses in support of the state's College and Career Readiness pathways program. Bilingual Testing Specialist Arnold/Main Campus
The Bilingual Testing Specialist will administer and proctor examinations for AACC students, prospective students, community members, and certification candidates. Testing Specialists must keep exam security at the forefront of their work while providing excellent customer service to a diverse population. This position must respond to student needs, use ADA technology, and provide support to students, staff, faculty, and community members.
Research Analyst Arnold/Main Campus
The Research Analyst is responsible for supporting data analysis and reporting functions of the Office of Planning, Research, and Institutional Assessment (PRIA). The position will work closely with CEWD to determine reporting metrics, data structure, and data retrievals for non-credit program data. The Research Analyst coordinates data gathering, completes external reporting mandates, and conduct trend analysis related to noncredit programs. The position will play a key role in incorporating CEWD data into institutional story telling.
Senior Programmer/Analyst Arnold/Main Campus
The Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for defining and analyzing business systems-related issues and solving, designing, and implementing solutions that address those issues. In addition, the Senior Programmer/Analyst supports the college's integrated ERP by developing, testing, debugging, implementing, and supporting increasingly complex computer programs using the delivered software development tools. Responsibilities also include applying vendor-delivered maintenance, assisting customers in understanding system functionality, preparing project requirements and technical documentation, and leading/participating in meetings with the customers and technical staff. This position requires training others, such as customers and technical staff. The Senior Programmer/Analyst works with 3rd Party Vendors to ensure that business process needs are met.
