The English Language Learning program is seeking part-time instructors to teach in our Community Interpreter Certificate program:

We are currently seeking instructors to teach evening classes in Arnold, or Hanover, MD.
Candidates invited for an interview will be asked to give a short teaching demonstration. Please mention your schedule availability and location preferences in your cover letter.

Receptionist, Career Center Linthicum

The receptionist will provide oversight, monitoring of facilities and support services for Anne Arundel Community College faculty and students attending classes, meetings and/or related activities at the Anne Arundel County Career Center in Linthicum. The position also acts as a receptionist at the Career Center and is responsible for greeting customers and responding to inquiries. The position is an administrative linkage between the off-site locations and CEWD Operations. |

Academic Advisors are responsible for assisting students in the development of educational, career and transfer plans through the assimilation of information from a variety of sources, course selection, interpretation of academic rules, regulations, policies and procedures, and intervention and referral to appropriate services and resources. |
Instructional Designer, Accessibility Architect

The Instructional Designer, Accessibility Architect is an essential member of the AACC community, promoting an inclusive, welcoming, learning, and working environment. The ideal candidate will support the college community with guidance, coaching, and professional development to create accessible materials, courses, and digital content. Continuous improvement is at the heart of this role as the individual will review and test tools and materials and gather data and research for analysis. This individual will collaborate with instructional designers, developers, faculty, and other stakeholders to integrate accessibility practices throughout campus life.

Maintenance Mechanic I/II (12pm-8pm shift)

Responsible for the overall material condition of assigned building(s) and immediate surroundings. The mechanic will perform routine and preventive maintenance repairs, initiate and respond to work orders to ensure that the assigned building(s) are in good repair. The mechanic will support learning programs by maintaining furniture inventories at designated numbers and in good repair. The mechanic will initiate work orders for the custodial staff to maintain facility cleanliness at or above acceptable standards. |
