Job Summary/Basic Function:

The SEC Staff Member supports daily operations by monitoring the center to ensure adherence to rules and procedures, reporting incidents, assisting individuals, and enforcing policies. Effective communication with team members and supervisors is crucial. An SEC monitor also does cleaning, student check-ins, plant care, and inventory tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently enrolled as undergraduate student at LSSU
Minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5
Outgoing nature
Ability to engage different types of students

Preferred Qualifications:

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up 25 pounds and push a cart up to 75 pounds.

Work Hours: 

M-F between 10am & 10 pm; Saturday between 10am - 5pm
