25/26 Student Admissions Ambassador Michigan
Admissions Student Ambassadors are a vital part of the recruitment of prospective students and are employed directly by the Admissions Office at Lake Superior State University. Student Ambassadors are a select group of students dedicated to the positive promotion of the Institution and are an essential component of LSSU’s public relation and outreach. -Provide prospective students and their families with exceptional customer service -Build relationships and lend guidance to prospective students and their parents in person and over the telephone. -Provide information concerning Lake Superior State University and share positive LSSU related experiences with the students and families -Relay the prospective student’s needs and requests to the appropriate Admissions staff -Aim to encourage enrollment of prospective students -Participate in required training meetings and remain informed of current LSSU Admissions and campus life procedures, activities, andevents -Provide assistance in various events and programs planned by the Admissions Office such as GLSW, Orientation, and Open Houses -Give tours of campus to prospective students and their families -Perform other admissions related tasks as needed such as data input, mailings, answering multi-line phone, ETC Some weekend work opportunities.

The volleyball clock operator is a person responsible for accurately managing the timing and scoring of a volleyball match, often working in conjunction with the official scorekeeper. Responsibilities: Timing Intervals: The clock operator is tasked with timing specific intervals during the match, such as: Charged time-outs: Beginning with the official's signal, and sounding an audio signal at the end of the specified timeout length (e.g., 45 seconds or 60 seconds). Injury time-outs: Beginning with the official's signal, and sounding an audio signal after the designated time (e.g., 30 seconds), unless play has resumed or the official indicates otherwise. Intervals between games (sets): Starting the clock when the referee signals teams to return to their benches, and sounding an audio signal at the appropriate intervals before the next set begins. Scoreboard Operation: Displaying the progress of the game on the scoreboard, in addition to timing duties. Communication: Working closely with the referees and scorekeeper to ensure accurate information is relayed about the game's progress. Equipment Management: Basic understanding of using the scoreboard and timing equipment. Accuracy: Maintaining composure in high-pressure situations to ensure accurate scorekeeping and timekeeping.
Volleyball Statistician Michigan
The Volleyball Statistician is responsible for meticulously tracking and recording game and player statistics during live volleyball matches. As part of the Volleyball Statistician game day team, this person may serve as either a computer operator or a stat spotter. The student will also support the branding and structure of the new Student Life identity, helping define its values, voice, and student-centered direction.
