Counseling Services Student Assistant Michigan
Your job as a Student Assistant will be one of acting as the face of the Counseling Services and making sure all students get the most that Counseling Services has to offer students. Communicate with students regarding scheduling, department information, and services that Counseling Services provides to LSSU students. Assist professional staff with general administrative duties. Manage and maintain sensitive student information in physical and online files. Oversee and manage displays and bulletin boards across campus. Interact with students through phone and email addressing their questions and concerns. Welcome new students and assist them with their mental health needs in a manner that is welcoming and professional. You will report directly to the Counseling Services Staff. Student Academic Success Center Tutor - Academic Year 2025/2026 Michigan
Peer Tutors work directly with students to provide course specific academic support outside the classroom. Tutoring sessions may have up to three students at one time. Peer Tutors should know their subject matter well and be able to effectively communicate that material to others. Other duties as assigned as related to the Academic Success Center and Tutoring Program.
Academic Success Center Student Manager - Academic Year 2025/26 Michigan
This student will report to the Academic Success & Student Support Coordinator and will be involved in every aspect of running the ASC front desk including: Maintaining tutor and staff schedules. Maintaining tutor availability and booking tutoring appointments. Ensure that all visitors to the ASC are welcomed and directed to the resources they need. Student Academic Success Center Supplemental Instruction Leader - Academic Year 2025/26 Michigan
Supplemental Instruction Leaders are responsible for leading small support courses for some of LSSU's most challenging classes. SI Leaders are expected to attend either class or a weekly meeting with the professor, develop a plan for weekly sessions, and host two sessions per week. SI Leaders should be good communicators, willing to adapt to the needs of the students, and able to work independently.
ASC Front Desk Student Staff - Academic Year 2025/26 Michigan
The front desk staff should have excellent customer services skills, the ability to work independently, and be able to get up to speed quickly with front desk software, tasks, policies and proceedures. We require strict confidentiality and kind respect for our visitors. Front Desk workers will answer questions, book and cancel tutoring appointments, make referrals to other areas on campus, keep the ASC tidy, model positive student behavior, and complete other duties as assigned during a set number of hours each week.

25 Summer Camp Counselor Michigan
The Admissions Office will host a range of activities from Summer Camps, Orientation events, and Open Houses during May, June, July, and August 2025. We are looking for energetic, reliable, and responsible counselors to provide supervision for prospective students during our Summer Camp and Admissions event activities. Participant ages will range from 1st to 12th grade. Counselors will provide a healthy, safe, and memorable experience for campers or event participants. Some travel may occur across the EUP, which would depart from campus. Applicants must use discretion in regards to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) when discussing participant information with parents or other outside members. Training will be provided in First Aid and CPR. Some evening or weekend work may be required. Responsibilities: - Lead group events, monitor campers, and respond to incidents, such as behavioral problems or accidents. May require keeping track of allergies or medical needs. - Monitoring campers to ensure compliance of camp rules and prevent accidents. - May need to provide campus tours or other duties related to meeting with prospective students and their families. Some office work may be needed.
