Assistant Athletics Director – Director of Athletic Academic Services, Leadership and Life Skills Development Michigan
Under supervision of the Athletic Director this position is responsible for providing high critical retention services directly for students. This position is designed to create, manage and promote student-athlete access to support services, life skill development and leadership development. Serve as a member of the Athletic Departments Senior Staff and Leadership Team planning for department wide initiatives, projects and vision.
Director of Athletics Creative Content Michigan
Under the direction of the Athletic Communications Director, the Director of Creative Content will be responsible for enhancing the Lake Superior State University (LSSU) Athletics’ brand in the digital media realm, creating creative content that showcases the athletic department, its student-athletes, and supports its strategic plan, with specific attention to DI Men’s Ice Hockey. Additionally, the selected candidate will have the ability to recruit, train, and mentor student learners.

Teach and instruct students in the School of Education, utilizing various methods, such as lecture and demonstration, and uses audiovisual aids and other materials to supplement presentations. Prepare teaching outline for course of study, assigns lessons, and corrects homework and classroom papers. Administer tests to evaluate students' progress, records results, and issues reports to inform students of their progress. Participate in departmental committees and outreach programs, as requested. Engage in original scientific research, prepare research manuscripts, participate in academic conferences, and further institutional research goals.

FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY Under the direction of the Director of Information Technology, this position is responsible for the administration of the university’s core server infrastructure and data center systems. This includes installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and support of Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux systems, and virtualized environments. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Serve as technical lead on Windows Server and workstation projects. o Oversee administration of Microsoft Active Directory Services (ADS) environment. o Manage VMware/VSphere infrastructure. o Administer file and print servers.  Lead development and administration of Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Networks (SAN).  Provide cross-platform application support, development, and deployment. o Develop and support SQL-based applications and PowerShell scripts. o Maintain account synchronization and integration across platforms.  Maintain and support server environments: o Perform regular system backups and updates. o Troubleshoot server and workstation issues. o Install, upgrade, and patch hardware, software, and peripherals.  Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline operations.  Ensure documentation for systems and processes is accurate and up to date.  Other duties as assigned.
