Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Hours & Schedule
    • Starting Compensation: $10.50 per hour
    • Junior Hawk Camp: June 28, 29, 30
    • Pee Wee Camp: June 28, 29, 30
    • College ID Camp: July 7 – 9
    • Skills Camp-Setting, Attacking/Blocking, Serve Receive and Defense: July 10, 11, 17, 18
    • All Skills Camp I & II: July 12 - 14 and July 19 – 21
    • Team Camp: July 27 - 29

Required Competencies

• Able to assess strengths of each individual camper and how to utilize them.
• Monitor and evaluate the volleyball skill level of campers.
• Ability to inspire and motivate.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience playing volleyball at the collegiate club and collegiate NCAA level
  • Experience with collegiate volleyball as either a player, coach, or graduate assistant.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the area of: Teaching and training techniques unique to volleyball. Communication and interpersonal skills. NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
