Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct Internal Audits 
    • Assist in performing audits of financial and operational processes, including cash handling and accounts receivable (AR), to ensure compliance with regulation and internal policies. 
  • Monitor Purchasing Card Transactions 
    • Review purchasing card activity for compliance with regulation and organizational policies, identify irregularities, and assist in preparing audit summaries and reports. 
  • Support Audit Documentation and Reporting 
    • Assist in the preparation of audit workpapers, documenting findings, and contribute to drafting audit reports with actionable recommendations for process improvements. 

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accounting and finance majors preferred
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
