Salary/Position Classification

  • $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee/other drinks, sandwiches, and pastries to customers in a timely manner
  • Prepare drinks by following specified recipes and preparation techniques using the proper equipment
  • Maintained high standards of customer service during high-volume, fast-paced operations
  • Stocks shelves with product, rotates product, and maintains inventory
  • Ensure that the store is clean and in order at all times
  • Practice sanitary and safety procedures.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to our customers.
  • Cleans and sanitizes all equipment correctly.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • May work at other Dining Retail locations on campus
  • Flexible variable schedules available must be able to work nights and weekends

Minimum Requirements

  • Able to stand on one's feet for 3-4 hours. 
  • Must be able to work with the preparation and disposal of fish, poultry, beef, lamb, pork and other meat products in professional culinary commercial kitchen. 
  • Hairnets and beard restraints are a requirement in our food preparation areas
  • Incumbents should have an optimistic attitude, willingness to learn new skills, high degree of integrity, and a strong work ethic
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
