Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

The EERC at UND is seeking qualified and highly motivated undergraduate and graduate
students from any discipline for paid summer research intern positions. Interns will be
introduced to energy impacts, challenges, and opportunities from technical, regulatory,
and social perspectives. The program’s focus on North Dakota’s energy landscape will
include a 5-day trip to energy production sites and communities across the state. Interns
will research future North Dakota energy opportunities. Interest in understanding energy
and research is essential. No prior energy experience is needed. Applicants must be
current UND students and enrolled at UND for the fall 2026 semester.
