Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. This position is located at the Airport and is responsible for washing and detailing aircraft, operating a floor scrubber, general janitorial duties and preparing aircraft for painting.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Washbay Assistant is responsible for washing and detailing aircraft, and operating the floor scrubber to keep our hangar floors clean.
  • The position also does general janitorial duties and prepares aircraft for painting.
  • The shifts days are M-F. The hours are between 8am to 8pm with some variation depending on work availability. Saturday in the summer and Sunday during the semester.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in one academic credit during the semester of employment
  • Able to work without supervision.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Reliable.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
