Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as a representative of the Department of Communication by engaging and following up with prospective students through tabling events and other outreach and recruitment-related activities.
- Support alumni outreach and engagement efforts led by the Strategic Engagement and Outreach Committee.
- Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of departmental events and initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of committee and departmental priorities
Minimum Requirements
- Must have accepted a Federal Work Study Award for the relevant term
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn to explain the Department of Communication and its undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificate programs fluently
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with social media accounts and how they operate: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Experience with Graphic Design, and programs like Canva, Adobe Create Suite, or Microsoft products.
