FLEX Medical Laboratory Scientist

| This position supports clinicians by performing moderately complex laboratory testing used to confirm or rule out diagnoses, guide patient care, establish prognoses, detect disease, and monitor treatment.
Primary responsibilities include conducting chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, and microbiology testing; processing and evaluating specimens; operating laboratory equipment; performing quality-control and proficiency testing; validating and reporting results; communicating critical values to providers; troubleshooting testing discrepancies; maintaining accurate records; collecting blood specimens; preparing referral specimens; and restocking laboratory supplies. |
