Position Summary:

Oklahoma City University’s Meinders School of Business (MSB) is seeking to fill the position of Clinical Professor of Accounting. This is a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure-track position starting coming fall 2024.

Qualifications

Candidates must have earned a master’s in accounting degree or above from an accredited university, be an active CPA, and have a minimum of five years of applied accounting experience and university-level teaching experience in accounting (preferably in auditing). Candidates should demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching, high personal and academic standards, capacity for collegiality and working in a team, strong written and oral communication skills, and receptivity to innovation and change.  

Responsibilities

Expectations include teaching excellence and curriculum development at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and service to the school, university, and business/professional communities. Community engagement and innovative experiential learning are strategic priorities at Meinders School of Business and are expected of the faculty. Teaching evening classes and using distance-learning technologies are also expected. The teaching load is expected to be 12 credit hours per semester.

Salary: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
