As a Systems Developer, Inter you will be part of the team responsible for the management and development of Slate CRM for Undergraduate Admissions. Responsibilities of the position include daily and cyclical administration of Slate, customizing Slate to meet the needs of stakeholders in Undergraduate Admissions and across the NMSU system, supporting functional users, and ensuring data integrity. You will work closely with cross-functional admissions teams, bring new ideas to life, and assist in driving system efficiencies and improvements. From managing troubleshooting to exploring cutting-edge Slate features, your work will directly refine and elevate our recruitment and admissions processes. Classification Summary:
Under supervision, performs work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult, but usually involves limited responsibility. Responsible for overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support.

Classification Standard Duties:
Designs, implements/installs, maintains, and administers infrastructures including hardware, software, and various configurations. Monitors overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately. Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures. Works with others to establish and improve processes and procedures. Generally focuses on projects for one of the following disciplines: Unix, Windows, AS400, storage, reporting, testing, middleware, or other software.

Required Education, Experience, Certification/License, Equivalency
Required Education:Bachelor's degree in a related field.; Required Experience:Three (3) years of experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined.; Equivalency:None; Required Certification/License:

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform daily activities related to the administration of the Slate instance. Includes:
• Creation of data imports and exports processes.
• Managing Slate-hosted admission applications.
• Maintaining and updating workflows, queries, and rules.
• Managing email campaigns and other communication projects.
• Troubleshooting issues across the platform.
• Collaborate with members of admissions teams to identify and implement regular and annual improvements to admission processes and support their technology-related needs.
• Research and learn Slate features and practices that may improve admissions workflow and efficiency. Attend conferences and other appropriate professional development opportunities to aid in performing required position responsibilities.
• Perform other related duties as required.
