Job Duties and Responsibilities: The Systems Analyst, Intermediate (Application Administrator), as part of the Distributed IT group, supports the university’s technology environment by assisting with enterprise system management and end-user technology needs. This position helps administer endpoint management tools such as Intune and Jamf, supporting device setup, compliance, and software deployment to meet institutional standards and college-specific requirements.

The analyst provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support, assists with application maintenance, and contributes to ensuring reliable, secure, and user-friendly computing environments across the NMSU system. The position works collaboratively with senior analysts, Systems, Infosec, and other IT units to document configurations, maintain applications, and support ongoing improvements to IT services in alignment with NMSU standards and goals.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
Associate's Degree + 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 2 years of relevant experience.

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
