Job Duties and Responsibilities: The successful applicant will work with Prof Wladimir Lyra and join his planet formation group at New Mexico State University. The postdoc will work on theoretical modeling related to fundamental problems on formation of planetary systems, such as the nature of turbulence in circumstellar disks, the streaming instability, and pebble accretion. Researchers with an experience background in any area of theoretical or computational astrophysics are invited to apply. The position is for two years. Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Environment: Work is normally performed indoors.

Physical Effort: Light physical effort. Effort applies to no more than two (2) hours per day.

Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.

Risk: Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
