Bargaining Unit Announcement: This is NOT a bargaining unit position with American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME).
Contingent Upon Funding: Contingent upon external funding
Standard Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8-5)

Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepare for and teach 30 credit hours over Fall and Spring semesters in the Business Department curriculum
- Teaching assignment may include day, evening, weekends, in-person or online, and/or multiple campus locations in Dona Ana County.
- Serve as the lead instructor for multi-section curses.
- Develop and teach in-person and online courses.
- Conduct classroom assessment of student learning and participate in program, department, and college assessment
- Collaborate with department faculty to revise and update course curriculum to stay current within the discipline and workplace trends
- Develops, revises and updates program curricula in collaboration with faculty, including online courses
- Instruct, support, advise, and provide timely feedback to students in accordance with DACC policy and procedures
- Function as advisor to students, both individually and to student clubs and groups
- Participate in and serve on department, division, and college committees, program advisory councils, task forces, and working groups
- Maintain professional and academic competence and participate in professional development activities.
- Maintain office hours as mandated by division and college policy
- Participate in department/program student recruitment and advising events
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Business Administration or related field required with 15 graduate hours in Finance required

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Distance Education technologies and teaching methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills working with students, colleagues, staff, supervisors, and the community
• Endorsement of the teaching philosophy of DACC which supports a goal of success for all students through hands-on learning experiences, strong faculty involvement, and proactive curriculum development
• Demonstrated ability to effectively teach a variety of students
• Experience with student advising and/or student clubs
• Demonstrated ability to perform collaboratively with a work group
• Computer literacy and the ability to use appropriate technology

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
