Position Details

Target Hourly/Salary Rate: Commensurate with experience

Appointment Full-time Equivalency: 1.0

FLSA Status: Exempt

Bargaining Unit Announcement: This is NOT a bargaining unit position with American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

Contingent Upon Funding: Contingent upon funding

Standard Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8-5)

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Plans and supports the creation, production, and dissemination of promotional, educational, and informational/resource materials that supports multiple program’s initiatives and service offerings. Identifies content priorities for each program and oversees the dissemination of materials to external partners in a timely and appropriate manner. Serves as internal and external liaison with respect to program promotion and serves as primary representative to external community partners at outreach events. Also assists in the planning, organizing, and participation of Statewide outreach initiatives and community events in order to promote the Center of Innovation’s programs and service offerings.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
Associate's Degree + 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 2 years of relevant experience.

Equivalent Qualifications: 

Preferred Qualifications: 
Ability to evaluate and edit the content, structure, and format of a range of written materials. Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects and events. Familiar with CANVA, WordPress, Contact Contact and Survey Monkey. Has a working knowledge of online scheduling, data tracking, and reporting. Must have demonstrated knowledge in cloud-based information technology services, such as Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, and Dropbox.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Physical Effort: No or very limited physical effort required.

Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.
