Target Hourly/Salary Rate: $59,965.78 - $86,991.30, commensurate with experience.

Appointment Full-time Equivalency: 1.0

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Position oversees and directs the Plant Accounting Management team and is responsible for integrity of the Banner Fixed Asset module, managing monthly reconciliations of plant funds, plant acquisition compliance monitoring (including fund creation), plant assets (disposals/acquisitions) for depreciation purposes and inventory accounting. Establish effective communication with the State regarding State Tax Bonds and General Obligation Bonds. Ensures timely submission of monthly drawdowns/invoicing for bond capital projects to maximize cash flow. Responsible for property closeouts and ensures accurate financial reporting of Federally owned equipment. Responsible for the completion of fiscal year end processes, annual financial statements and financial statement footnotes related to fixed assets. Responsible for the University’s compliance with federal, state and agency regulations related to plant funds as well as university policy and procedures to include timely and accurate responses to property audit requests.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
Associate's Degree + 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 2 years of relevant experience.

Equivalent Qualifications: 

Preferred Qualifications: 
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Experience: Five (5) years of professional experience directly related to the job duties and responsibilities as outlined.
