The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Manager to lead the clinical care team at Heiden Park Lodge in Sydney. This role is key in ensuring residents receive exceptional, evidence-based care that enhances their quality of life.
Your Role
As Clinical Manager, you will:
- Conduct clinical assessments and implement evidence-based practices to improve resident outcomes.
- Guide and support nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure best care practices.
- Develop, monitor, and update personalised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and medical professionals.
- Audit clinical forms, review incident reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide leadership in quality improvement, policy development, and clinical protocol implementation.
- Oversee risk management and ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
- Assess staff competencies, identify training needs, and coordinate professional development.
- Evaluate facility services, including hygiene, cleaning, meal delivery, and overall resident experience.

What You Bring
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant nursing field (minimum 12 months clinical experience).
- Minimum 4 years post-registration experience, including 3 years in a specialised area.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Commitment to providing safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
- Strong time management and adaptability to changing care needs.
- Proficiency in using clinical software and documentation tools.
Pre-employment screening
The successful candidate is required to have completed/have a willingness to undertake the following:-
- Vaccinated in accordance with UPA’s Immunisation and Vaccination Policy. (including proof of the required doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza)
- Undertake a National Criminal History Check
- Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
