Nestled in the lush, green suburb of Wahroonga, the Thomas & Rosetta Agst Centre is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cleaner/Laundry Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.

About the Role
In this hands-on role, you will be a vital part of maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our aged care residents. You’ll be working in a supportive team and contributing to the wellbeing of those in our care.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the facility
-
Handle residents’ laundry with care, ensuring infection control and dignity
-
Work collaboratively with the team to deliver seamless services
-
Promote a safe, hygienic, and homely environment
-
Follow Work Health and Safety procedures at all times

We’re seeking someone who:

Takes pride in providing a high standard of cleanliness

Shows kindness and empathy towards elderly residents

Can work independently while adhering to safety guidelines

Understands infection control and safe chemical handling

Has a positive attitude and a team-focused mindset

Holds or is willing to obtain a First Aid Certificate (desirable)

Is familiar with Work Health and Safety practices

Is reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
