The Opportunity
We are looking for a Food Services Assistant to join our team at Thomas and Rosetta Agst Aged Care in Wahroonga.
Duties will include (but not limited to): -
- Preparation evening meals as resident’s requests
- Planning for resident’s special requests and dietary needs, as well as likes and dislikes
- Participating and maintaining the HACCP program continually striving for improvement
- Maintain clean and tidy kitchen, include clean-up of spills and hazard prevention
- Report and defects or maintains requirements
- Keep up to date with latest food safety, handling and equipment standards
- Follow required hygiene guidelines as per HACCP
- Will to complete Food Safety Training as per food safety standards, will to complete Senior First Aide Certificate
- Work as team member as per UPA values and have good communication skills

Pre-employment screening
The successful candidate is required to have completed/have a willingness to undertake the following:-
- Vaccinated in accordance with UPA’s Immunisation and Vaccination Policy. (including proof of the required doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza)
- Undertake a National Criminal History Check
- Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
