We’re seeking an experienced and inspiring Facility Manager with a clinical nursing background to lead our 78-bed Ascott Gardens Residential Aged Care Facility in Orange, NSW.

About Ascott Gardens
Located in the vibrant regional city of Orange, Ascott Gardens is a modern, 78-bed residential aged care facility delivering around-the-clock support to residents. Features include:
- 24/7 care, including onsite Registered Nurse coverage
- Private rooms with ensuites, reverse cycle air-conditioning, modern furnishings
- TV, phone, and computer outlets in each room, plus free Wi-Fi access
- A warm, welcoming environment that feels like home
A key feature of Ascott Gardens is Poppy Cottage, our secure dementia wing, designed to provide a high level of supervision and safety through sensor monitoring, while still offering all the comforts and amenities of the general facility.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the facility
- Provide clinical oversight and ensure excellence in resident care
- Oversee staff rosters, workforce planning, and performance management
- Maintain full compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements
- Foster a culture of teamwork, learning, and continuous improvement
- Engage with residents, families, and the local community to deliver a positive experience
What You Bring
Essential:
- Current AHPRA nursing registration (Registered Nurse)
- Proven leadership experience as a Facility Manager or similar senior role
- Strong understanding of aged care accreditation, funding, and compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills
- Passion for person-centred care and resident wellbeing
- National Police Check and relevant clearances
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications in nursing, health, management or related field
- Experience managing a similar-sized aged care facility
- Knowledge of dementia-specific care models and environments
