The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our Corporate team at our Wahroonga office on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Projects and Change Management, you will lead and deliver a diverse range of operational and strategic projects that drive meaningful change and improvement across the organisation.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, aligning with UPA’s mission and the regulatory requirements of the aged care sector. Working collaboratively across all levels of the organisation, you’ll lead initiatives that enhance the services we provide to older Australians.
About You
You are a seasoned Project Manager who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments. You have a strong track record of delivering results, confidently engaging with senior stakeholders and coordinating cross-functional teams. You are passionate about aged care and understand the importance of supporting staff and consumers through periods of change.
What You’ll Need
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business Administration, Health Management, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience delivering operational and strategic projects from end to end
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, timelines and risks
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Desirable
- Experience in aged care, health or community services
- Formal Project Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP)
- Exposure to change management methodologies
- Understanding of Australian aged care legislation and quality standards
- Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector
