The Opportunity

We’re currently seeking a passionate and energetic Lifestyle Officer to join our team at Richmond Lodge on a casual basis, with weekend availability.

In this rewarding role, you’ll be at the heart of creating joyful, meaningful experiences for our residents, helping them stay active, connected, and engaged in life.

As our Lifestyle (Recreational Activities) Officer, you will:

  • Design and deliver engaging social, recreational, and cultural programs
  • Foster a positive, vibrant atmosphere that encourages participation and independence
  • Support residents’ mental health and wellbeing
  • Tailor activities to individual needs, interests, and abilities
  • Monitor and evaluate programs, ensuring continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified with a Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle (minimum requirement)
  • Experienced in aged care or a similar setting
  • Creative, organised, and passionate about improving quality of life
  • Confident in planning and delivering engaging group activities
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledgeable in Aged Care Standards, Resident Rights, and WHS
  • Comfortable using technology and digital tools

Pre-employment screening

The successful candidate is required to have completed/have a willingness to undertake the following: - 

  • Vaccinated in accordance with UPA’s Immunisation and Vaccination Policy. (including proof of the required doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza) 
  • Undertake a National Criminal History Check 
  • Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
