Care Service Employee – Richmond Lodge Hostel | Hunter Region
UPA is a values-driven not-for-profit organisation providing Residential Aged Care, Home Care and Retirement Living services across NSW. We are committed to ensuring our people always have someone by their side and are currently seeking compassionate Care Service Employees to join our team at Richmond Lodge Hostel.
In this rewarding role, you will provide person-centred care that supports residents' independence, wellbeing and quality of life. You will assist with personal care, daily living activities, medication administration (where assessed as competent), wound care, and encourage residents to continue participating in the activities and interests they enjoy.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent (or be working towards completion)
- A genuine passion for supporting older people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate, resident-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across a rotating roster
Previous aged care experience and a current First Aid Certificate are highly regarded.

Pre-Employment Requirements

- Meet UPA's Immunisation and Vaccination Policy requirements, including evidence of COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations
- Complete a National Criminal History Check
- Undertake a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
