About the role:      

Support the work and strategic direction of Fire and Rescue NSW through the provision of accurate analysis and advice on all aspects of engineering design and performance related to building fire safety.

About you:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of engineering concepts and principles including related engineering software programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply and interpret relevant policies, procedures, the Building Code of Australia, legislation, standards, etc, in providing advice and written recommendations.
  • Understanding of fire engineering and its application to performance-based design, fire behaviour and its interaction with buildings and installed safety systems 

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum tertiary degree qualifications in Engineering
