Competitive Salary: Band 8 - $133,367 - $149,592 p.a (dependent on experience) + 12% superannuation

About the Role:
Bayside City Council is seeking a highly motivated Coordinator Information Transformation to lead the continuous improvement of our data and information storage and records management. This role involves transitioning physical records to digital storage, managing data standards, security, and compliance with legislative requirements, and spearheading the integration of existing records management systems. Additionally, the role will involve leading the migration and classification of data held on shared drives to SharePoint
You will be responsible for:
- Transitioning current physical records to digital storage.
- Management of the Council EDRMS including retention and destruction.
- Migration and Classification of data in all systems.
- Provide a roadmap for Information Management and Transformation at Bayside.
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
- Tertiary qualifications, bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in information technology, data management, or a related field.
- Substantial experience in Records Management and or archives management, preferably in Local Government, including experience administering and configuring computerised records management systems.
- Transformation, change and strategy implementation experience. Previous experience with Sharepoint and/or OpenText Content Manager required.
- Experience in working within a technical team for the delivery of transformation projects and systems implementation.
- Strong understanding of data and records management legislation and compliance requirements for public sector agencies.
Mandatory pre-employment requirements:
- Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check.
- Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check.
