QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in School Counseling 
• Master's degree 
• Successful teaching and/or counseling experience with at least 3 years experience preferred
• Demonstrates the professional and personal characteristics for working effectively with students, parents, school personnel and community agencies
• Candidates working on school counseling internship/licensure may be considered.

General Description -

• Advising and counseling students regarding academic, educational, and short-term social and emotional problems.
• Conducting assessments to evaluate students' abilities.
• Providing individual student planning and responsive services to support students and their families regarding academic matters.
• Customizing counseling services to meet individual student and school needs.
• Facilitating conflict resolution.

This is a 10-month 200 day position.

Salary range: $53,500-$99,368/Per Year with Master's Degree
