Computer Science Student Advisor	Harrisonburg
The Computer Science (CS) Department seeks a highly motivated individual to join us as an undergraduate academic advisor. We offer Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology. The department values a well-connected student community, prioritizing students both academically and holistically. Advisors hold in-person meetings with students, proactively communicate with students online, offer advising and community building events, and develop resources to foster student success. This is a full-time, 12-month, Administrative and Professional Faculty position. JMU's CS department strives to provide a broad, accessible, and rigorous education to our diverse student body. With small class sizes and emphasis on state-of-the-art pedagogy, we train our graduates to program fluently, think deeply about computational problems, communicate clearly, responsibly practice their craft, and achieve professional success. We foster a sense of shared community with our students, giving them opportunities for leadership through robust TA and student ambassador programs, conducting research with faculty, and assisting with faculty searches. The CS department maintains a collegial work environment and a strong sense of shared mission. We value the success of our colleagues, and pitch in to help each other when needed. Assistant Professor, Hart School of Hospitality, Sport, and Recreation Management	Harrisonburg	11 Aug 2025
The Sport & Recreation Management (SRM) program at James Madison University is seeking applicants for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The starting date for the position is Fall, 2025. The Hart School is an affiliate academic unit in the College of Business. The Hart School serves approximately 1,000 students in both Sport & Recreation Management and Hospitality Management along with a Sport & Recreation Leadership program with more than 40 students at the Master’s level. Oracle HCM Application Manager	Harrisonburg
JMU is in the midst of implementing a very large strategic plan, called Reengineering Madison. Replacing our ERP applications is the last phase of the project and we are excited to offer this position for an Application Manager for the new Oracle ERP Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
Lecturer - Department of Finance and Business Law	Harrisonburg
The Department of Finance and Business Law in the College of Business at James Madison University (JMU) invites applications for a renewable term appointment with the rank of Lecturer in Business Law. The appointment begins in fall 2025. This is a full-time benefit-eligible position. The Finance and Business Law Department is staffed by 17 full-time faculty with 14 faculty in finance and 3 in Business Law. The department serves both Finance and Quantitative Finance majors and college business law courses. FIN & BLAW faculty have received numerous awards and recognitions for outstanding teaching, service, and research.
Health Sciences Student Assistant- FWS	Harrisonburg
The Department of Health Sciences is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented student assistant for the 2025-2026 academic year. This position will assist faculty and staff in various ways and assist the main office reception desk as needed. The student must be Federal Work Study Eligible and available to work 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
