General Information:
The College of Integrated Science and Engineering (CISE) at JMU is accepting applications for the position of Operations Coordinator. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a budget manager for the College of Integrated Science & Engineering (CISE), providing general monitoring of budgets in order to provide accurate information and insight.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and records.
- Act as a liaison to Academic Resources and other JMU financial offices.
- Assist staff members in the college with financial record keeping and university processes.
- Assist with administrative support for college-level programs and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
- General understanding of basic accounting procedure.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
- Ability to work independently, and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to effectively prioritize short- and long-term objectives/tasks to meet specifications and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and ability to work with databases.
