General Information:
James Madison University, a Division 1 member of the NCAA and Sun Belt Conference, is accepting applications for an Equipment Manager - Part Time . The Equipment Manager reports to the Director of Equipment Room Operations and is primarily responsible for laundering practice loops, inventory and distribution of apparel and equipment to student-athletes and coaches across various equipment rooms on campus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists the Director of Equipment with day to day operations out of the convocation center equipment room.
- Assists other equipment managers across APC, AUBC, Godwin, and Memorial equipment rooms as needed
- Responsible for laundering and return of athlete practice laundry
- Tags apparel using a heat press
- Assists Director of Equipment with inventory and apparel distribution using Teamworks
- Helps keep equipment room clean and organized
- All other duties as assigned

- Able to work nights and weekends
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently
Additional Considerations:
- Previous experience working in a NCAA equipment room

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.
This is a part-time wage position working up to an average of 29 hours per week over the course of a calendar year with no benefits.
